Got a minute? If you will take just a minute of your time and give God A Minute, you can be part of a worldwide movement that will change the course of this deadly disease. It’s not a lot to ask when you consider the potential life-saving benefit to you and your loved ones! It is a fail-safe cure for COVID-19, and it will cost you nothing! Do I have your attention yet? I hope so because it’s really not complicated. It does, however, require you to make a conscious decision that will result in transforming the way you think and act from this point forward, as you allow Almighty God to begin the process in your heart and mind.
And be ye not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2
This deadly virus has caught us all off-guard, inserting its ruthless nature into our lives, leaving many in a state of fear and confusion. But, my friend, we do not have to live in a state of fear and trepidation. In this information age of instantaneous access to just about everything we seek, it appears that Jesus has taken extreme measures to get our attention. It’s as if He is saying, I have removed every distraction to enable you to focus on Me. Surely this is the most catastrophic event in my lifetime, as this virus has virtually halted life as we know it! No one is exempt from the possibility of contracting the disease, where the total number of lives claimed to date is teetering near 100,000. We should be diligently seeking God and His will in this time of crisis. Instead, we have lost our way and have forgotten to rely on Him for our needs. We have failed to acknowledge His omniscience, His grace, His power, His lovingkindness, and His complete and unchanging love for mankind, as demonstrated by the sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus Christ!
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Society has taught us to question His very existence and many have fallen prey to this fallacy. Yet as was so evident during 911, churches became filled and people were on their knees seeking God again. What has happened since then? Once again, we became complacent and forgot that it is God alone that orders our steps. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. He sent His Son to be born in a stable. He then died, rose, and is coming again to receive His Church. A Church that is ready for his coming.
But there is still hope in Christ Jesus for those who believe. Hope is a most precious commodity! Hope in our Heavenly Father—that He keeps His Word, and that all things are possible with God! Through His supernatural power, COVID-19 can be completely and permanently eradicated.
We need a revival in our land and, in fact, throughout the world. How does that happen? Through cleansing, prayer, and then action. There is an old hymn, “Cleanse Me,” that references that very fact and the lyrics further state, “…and let it [revival] begin with me.” As Easter Sunday approaches, I believe God is calling His children to be still and listen to His voice as He leads us into a revival that will yield astounding evidence of not only His existence, but of His miraculous, healing power. Herein lies our Challenge and Call to Action:
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I Hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. II Chronicles 7:14 KJV
Will you join with me and thousands of Christians across the world on Easter Sunday, and pray, as is so strongly expressed in the scripture above? It’s just that simple and straightforward. YOU can make a difference! Let’s now be about our Father’s business and witness one of the greatest miracles in modern times. I implore you to continue to pray every day, beginning on Easter Sunday, until we begin to see this mighty move of God. And, if you don’t know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you can be saved today.
